But Hickory's approach is built on how people actually learn: continuously, over time. We leverage research on spaced repetition, a learning technique that has been shown to speed up the rate of learning. We even tailor each lesson to each employee based on what they're about to forget.
In Hickory, you don't need expert knowledge of a complicated authoring tool to produce your content. There's no cumbersome interface, complicated slide layers, or layout designs to worry about. Just write your lessons with rich text, images, videos, and quiz questions. With no special course authoring skills needed, anyone on your team can write Hickory lessons to advance your training goals.
Hickory is designed with short, flashcard-style learning in mind. Use your existing training material to make short lessons your employees will actually remember. Or create lessons from scratch using our simple card-based lesson builder. If you copy-paste from existing documents, our rich text editor will retain the formatting. You can embed screenshots, images, and videos easily. We also support LMS integrations via our API or lesson content import/export with xAPI, SCORM, and cmi5. And with our drag-and-drop interface, you can re-arrange lesson material quickly.
Hickory supports SAML-based SSO, including Google Suite, Microsoft 365, Salesforce, Auth0, and Okta. So if you already have a Single sign-on platform, your users can log in quickly and easily to take their lessons. Additionally, our Zendesk integration lets your users take their Hickory lessons directly from within Zendesk.
